Day 10

Today turned out to be full of surprises and discoveries. The pulsating pain and slow healing of the wound on my hand continued to torment me, so I decided to venture into the forest in search of plants that could aid in my recovery. The forest was dense and gloomy, penetrated only by thin rays of sunlight. I cautiously made my way through the trees and plants when suddenly I came across a bush resembling plantain or burdock. Childhood memories of using plantain for healing various ailments flooded my mind. I plucked a few leaves and noticed there was an animal beneath one of the leaves.

The creature looked like a soft hamster standing on its hind legs, with leaves on its head instead of fur, sharp claws, and gemstones for eyes. When it noticed me, it emitted a strange squeal, a mixture of cat and dog sounds, and swiped at my leg, causing a cut. I fell to the ground, clutching my gemstones, and hurriedly searched for the red stones. The stones spilled out of my bag, and three green gemstones suddenly shrunk and released a thin beam of green energy directed towards me. I felt the energy permeate my body, filling it with vitality, joy, and most importantly, the pain in my hand and leg vanished instantly. The creature, observing me intently, let out a few more hisses and fled. I stood there in silence, examining my wounds, which had completely disappeared. No scars, no pain. Moreover, I felt full of vigor and energy, as if all discomforts and injuries had been completely healed. Gathering a few stones and leaves to conduct further experiments, I confidently made my way back to my shelter, contemplating the impressions and questions that this event had raised.

Why do the monsters react to the energy manifested by gemstones with such aggression? Perhaps this energy poses a threat to them or causes discomfort? It is also intriguing to explore what other properties and abilities gemstones possess. I am certain that this is only the beginning of my research and immersion into this fascinating world.

With this newfound energy and a sense of gratitude for the healing, I will continue my explorations and diligently document all my discoveries and observations. May this world of gemstones become not only a source of danger but also a source of knowledge and new possibilities.
