Loud sounds from the forest penetrated my ears, becoming closer and more intense. The forest space filled with an anxious atmosphere, and I couldn't help but notice that the monsters were getting closer to my shelter at night. Perhaps they began to sense my presence and interest in the gemstones, or it was organized reconnaissance to explore my intentions and potential threats.

In light of these events, it became clear that I needed to take care of my own defense. Previously, I dealt with monsters that were not prepared for my presence, but now the situation had changed. Being vigilant and cautious was no longer enough, as the evident activity of the monsters indicated that they were aware of my presence and could take corresponding actions.

I faced the task of developing a defense system that would help me deal with potential threats. First, I decided to strengthen my physical defense by creating a makeshift barrier structure around the shelter. I used branches and logs available in the vicinity, arranging them to form a fence-like structure, aiming to create a physical obstacle for the monsters and make it more difficult for them to access my sanctuary.

However, physical defense was not the only measure I took. I also decided to utilize my knowledge of gemstone properties to create protective amulets. Using red gemstones, I made several pendants that could serve not only as adornments but also as a means of repelling monsters. Red gemstones, by their nature, had the ability to inflict damage, and I hoped that their presence on my person would deter potential attackers.

Nevertheless, despite all the measures taken, a sense of unease enveloped me. I realized that the monsters in the forest still lingered, and my struggle for survival was only beginning. My actions and decisions in these days became increasingly significant, and I had to take into account both my own safety and the exploration of the mysteries of this enigmatic place. What the coming days would bring and how I would cope with the escalating threat were questions I had yet to find answers to.
