Day 8

Throughout the night, I wrestled with restless thoughts, unable to find peace. Images of the monster and gemstones kept swirling in my mind, raising many questions. What is this energy they possess? Why did it force the monster to retreat from the battlefield? Was there pain or fear within it? These questions haunted me relentlessly.

I stopped wandering through the gorge and decided to plan my further explorations. I realized the need to create a dedicated space for my research, a small laboratory where I could conduct experiments safely. The consequences of my discoveries remain unknown, so taking precautions wouldn't hurt.

The entire day was devoted to setting up this laboratory. I found a flat stone that will serve as a table. Logs and branches serve as my makeshift shelters for interacting with the gemstones. It may not be the most perfect laboratory, but I made the best use of the available resources.

Now everything is ready. Tomorrow, I will commence my research. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to delve deeper into the nature of this energy, to comprehend its essence and understand how it impacts the surrounding world. Perhaps my investigations will shed light on the enigma of this realm and guide me back on the path I seek.
