Day 33
Today, while conducting experiments and research, I suddenly remembered my apartment. Memories of my cozy and comfortable living room, where I spent many hours immersed in reading books, came to life so vividly that I could smell the scent of my terry robe permeated with tobacco.
The feeling of warmth and comfort that came from these memories reminded me of the joys we could enjoy in our former world. And then I realized that I was beginning to forget the taste of food and the pleasure from the taste receptors that once brought me so much enjoyment.
The thought of the taste of a juicy medium-rare steak, which melted in the mouth, evoked nostalgia in me and a longing for lost tastes and aromas. I pondered whether the opportunity to experience these sensations would ever return. In this new world, where we are fighting for survival and adapting to unknown rules, such simple pleasures may seem unattainable.
However, despite this, I continue my research and experiments. Perhaps, in the future, we will be able to restore all the lost sensations and return to the joys we once knew. I do not lose hope and continue to strive for understanding this world and its possibilities.
In the meantime, I decide to focus on our current tasks and challenges to ensure our survivability and success in this battle. My heroes, including myself, need to maintain motivation and focus to keep moving forward, even if it means a temporary absence of enjoyment from familiar pleasures.
