Days 201-205

The activity in the camp has increased significantly, especially among those engaged in artifact searching and submission. Heroes are bringing in new samples daily, and their enthusiasm truly impresses me. With each passing day, I gather more materials for experiments, which allows me to advance my research. I hope this enthusiasm doesn't fade, as there are still many unsolved mysteries ahead.
Over the past few days, I've identified several important patterns. I discovered that synapses, which can be extracted from artifacts, come in different grades — just like our heroes. It seems that in order for a synapse to interact with a hero, their grades must match. This discovery could be key to new methods for empowering our heroes.
More surprisingly, while purifying what appeared to be a regular artifact, I unexpectedly obtained an ARCHON-grade synapse. This event has completely reshaped my understanding of the process. I now have reason to believe that, albeit with a low probability, an artifact can yield a synapse two grades higher than its own level. If this theory is confirmed, it could be a real breakthrough in our research.
The question I need to answer is how exactly these synapses can enhance our heroes and their attributes. These energetic-genetic connections hold significant potential, but it's still unclear what they specifically affect — strength, endurance, magical abilities, or perhaps something more complex and multifaceted. I see immense potential in this, and in the near future, I intend to focus all my efforts on studying these connections.
It may take numerous experiments and tests, but I am confident that sooner or later I will solve this mystery. If we can not only purify artifacts correctly but also use synapses to strengthen our heroes, it could become a decisive factor in our quest to survive and thrive in this enigmatic world. I will continue my experiments, using all my knowledge and available resources to shed light on this mystery.
