The tournament is nearing its climactic end. A deafening roar that instills trepidation in each one of us, the echoes of which penetrate the very depths of our souls, again breaks the silence. The source of this roar is an unknown monster dwelling somewhere in the depths of the forest located at the end of the gorge. Strangely, it remained silent throughout this period, and now, at the moment of the finale, it has made itself known again.

My tireless research into the monsters has led me to a new hypothesis. Could it be that the monsters crave the energy contained within the gems? Perhaps they lack the ability to transform the gems on their own and need to seize our method of transformation? After all, gems are found everywhere: in monsters, in the environment — they are intertwined with every aspect of this world.

I go over various theories in my mind, trying to understand the essence of what is happening. At the very beginning of our experiments, I inadvertently awakened this energy, causing a wave of aggression and attacks from the monsters. We became the target of their relentless hunt, with the stakes escalating with each new day.

Perhaps, in this rapidity, in this battle for the energy of the gems, lies the key to understanding what drives the monsters to assail us time and again. Maybe, by finding a way to control this energy or offering an alternative source of sustenance for them, we can find a way to end this endless war.
