Day 9

Today, I spent the entire day conducting experiments, trying to unravel the secret of the gemstones and their energy. It turned out that if different colored gemstones are simply mixed together, there is no effect. This was the first discovery.

I decided to start with the red gemstones and conducted several experiments. I placed one gemstone on the table - nothing happened. I added a second one - same story. But when I placed three red gemstones on the table, they instantly trembled, merged together, produced a burst, and then left a faint trail of red energy that slowly dissipated in the air. Thus, it became clear that to activate the energy, three gemstones need to be combined.

Additionally, I conducted experiments with placing multiple red gemstones on the table simultaneously. The research showed that the energetic effect is observed only when the gemstones form a straight line of three or more stones.

However, by the end of the day, my recklessness led to serious consequences. I was so absorbed in my experiments that I neglected the necessary protection and safety measures. During one of the experiments, a cluster of gemstones collapsed right next to my hand, and the released energy struck it directly.

The pain I experienced was indescribable. It felt as if I had been pierced by a hot blade. My hand was severely injured, with charred skin around the edges. I used a piece of my shirt as a makeshift bandage and took refuge in my shelter, feeling the pain and deeply regretting my irresponsibility.

I couldn't stop reflecting on the consequences of my carelessness. How could I have become so absent-minded and disregard basic safety rules? After all, I was supposed to explore this amazing world, not risk my life due to my own recklessness.

It became clear to me that all the energy released by the gemstones upon their combination has potentially dangerous nature. My irresponsibility led to a serious traumatic experience, and now I realized that I must exercise utmost caution in future experiments.

As the evening approached, I gradually calmed down, focusing on planning my further research. I decided that more time should be devoted to studying the properties of each color of gemstones, determining what energy is released upon their combination, and how to properly harness it.

I also realized that I should never again neglect my protection and adhere to all precautionary measures. Future experiments must be conducted in a safe environment, and I must be prepared for any possible consequences.

With pain in my hand and a lingering sense of regret in my heart, I drifted off to sleep in my shelter, preparing for a new day and the new challenges that this extraordinary world will present before me.
