Day 121

Today marked dual focal points of activity in the camp. On one hand, heroes continued their tenacious defense against Frostagon, seizing every chance to gather and utilize its icy gems. The eagerness to strengthen before the end of the "Season of Progress" tournament was palpable, as the top 100 heroes will receive their well-deserved rewards next week.

At the same time, I managed to dedicate time to my scientific research, which always brings me immense satisfaction. Delving into the peculiarities of this world, I revisited one of my initial hypotheses: why is there no hunger felt here? Why does organic tissue transform so rapidly into gems? And why do the gems so efficiently convert into energy with diverse effects?

These questions suggest fundamentally different principles of the universe, the existence of other fundamental processes. Sometimes I catch myself longing for access to my Earthly library, where I could consult the classical works on alchemy. Although alchemy was long considered a fringe of fantasy and charlatanism in our world, the theories and methods described in those ancient texts might hold the key to understanding the processes at play here.

Perhaps the gems are akin to the philosophers' stone described by alchemists, transmuting basic elements into something more valuable. The world of "IN" might be a place where alchemical processes are not myth but reality, defining the laws of nature. This understanding opens up new research prospects for me. I eagerly await the chance to delve deeper into these mysteries, unraveling the secrets of this astonishing and enigmatic world.
