Day 73
Amidst the raging battle around us, jackalvictor, having noticed me, was drawn to a detail I had never pondered before.
"Professor, have you noticed the difference in our enemies' tactics? They attack without a system, without tactics. It seems some of them are so resilient to magic that they are almost impossible to defeat, while others merely rush to destroy us as quickly as possible, without regard for their own safety. Do you think this is related to their nature or a lack of experience?"
I looked at jackalvictor, realizing that I had indeed never considered this question. After a brief reflection, I replied, "You've pointed out an intriguing detail. Perhaps these creatures act on instinct, and their battle strategy is not based on reasoning or experience but a simple urge to obliterate. It could be due to their lack of advanced intellect, or they're just new to this. But you're absolutely right; this works in our favor. If they started coordinating their attacks or using strategies, our task would become much more challenging. Let's use this to our advantage and try to end the battle before they learn to act more rationally."
jackalvictor nodded, expressing his agreement. "It would just be interesting to know what drives them. But for now, let's focus on our mission."
